About the role
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday payroll processing and intimate knowledge of U.S. payroll and multi-state compliance and tax requirements. They will also have the ability to work under regular biweekly payroll processing deadlines as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills to help resolve employee payroll issues and manage the team.
What you'll do
- Own and manage U.S. payroll operation
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, resolving payroll-related issues as needed
- Oversee payroll tax filings and compliance, including but not limited to wage and hour compliance, federal and state filings, garnishments
- Respond to employee inquiries and tickets regarding payroll-related issues
- Audit and validate 401(k) contributions to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan
