About the role
You will collaborate with the Director of Research Systems and a dynamic team of scientists to transform how CEL’s research delivers real-time impact for communities. By blending robust scientific expertise with an innovator’s mindset, you will challenge conventions, advance frontiers, and accelerate the translation of evidence into life-saving solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design of rigorous research protocols (cluster RCTs, implementation science, mixed-methods studies)
- Drive/Support proposal development, donor reporting, grant management, and ethical reviews
- Supervise research teams, field operations, and ensure data quality and adherence to SOPs
- Develop advanced statistical analysis plans using R, STATA, or equivalent tools, including SPSS, SAS, or Python libraries (e.g., pandas, stats models)
- Mentor early-career researchers and contribute to institutional research capacity building
