About the role
Align with Product and Process Industrialization (PPI) to realize process changes and support on industrializations of new product specifications initiate and control investments for production equipment (e.g. production machines, assembly equipment, automation technology, etc.), manufacturing engineering equipment (e.g. for software tools, equipment for machine installation/maintenance).
What you'll do
- Support production cost calculation and standard times calculation (e.g., by time studies) and industrializations of new product specifications
- Translate plant manufacturing engineering strategy into action plans and ensure implementation
- Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning)
- Ensure the achievement of manufacturing engineering targets according to internal and external customer expectations
- Participate in and/or steer global or local manufacturing engineering related and cross-functional projects
