About the role
As an Engineering Manager for the Coupa Risk team, you will lead a development team responsible for our Coupa Risk application. You will play a crucial role in evolving our risk-scoring capabilities, helping your team build performant, scalable software that empowers customers to make confident compliance and risk decisions.
What you'll do
- Act as a servant leader, ensuring the team understands the business context behind our risk-domain due diligence initiatives
- Process & Innovation: Partner with peer engineering managers and architects to drive continuous process improvements
- Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies (e.g., AI-assisted log querying, multi-skill orchestrators) that enhance triage and production reliability
- Ensure the team maintains high engineering standards (code reviews, unit testing) while delivering maintainable, scalable microservices and robust integrations
