About the role
We are looking for an experienced Staff Security Software Engineer to design and build scalable security platforms, and capabilities that strengthen Coupang's security posture. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems at scale.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact security engineering initiatives
- Build scalable security platforms and distributed systems that address complex security challenges
- Collaborate across Security, Engineering, Infrastructure, and GRC teams to translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions
- Drive architecture, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and security solutions through prototypes and technical investigations
