About the role
This is a working accountant’s seat with genuine scope: full-cycle books for multiple entities, GST compliance on Indian operations, cross-border transaction documentation, and the closing-and-reporting rhythm that keeps leadership sighted. The function runs on discipline — reconciliations that close clean, documentation that survives audit, and deadlines treated as physics.
What you'll do
- Own full-cycle accounting for assigned entities — payable, receivable, general ledger, and the monthly close that lands on time, every time
- Run GST compliance for Indian operations: return preparation, input-tax reconciliation, and filing-season command
- Manage cross-border transaction documentation — forex, invoicing, and the inter-entity accounting a multi-country group requires
- Use: Tally-class accounting software, Zoho Books + GST filing platforms, Advanced Excel working-paper systems, Document-management stacks for voucher and audit trails
