What you'll do
- Learn backup and recovery on systems where data loss is not an inconvenience, and security hardening on databases that hold client-adjacent intelligence
- Support the PostgreSQL infrastructure behind our intelligence platforms — the stores our analysts and strategists query every day
- Monitor performance and manage parameters — indexes, query plans, capacity — on live corpora under senior DBA supervision
- Use: PostgreSQL 15, pg_dump / pgBackRest-class backup and restore tooling, Linux shell and systemd service management, pgAdmin / psql monitoring workflows
