About the role
The Mewari Interpreter Internship in Delhi at CryptoMize is a certified six-month program on rolling intake, built for freshers who move easily between Mewari, Hindi, and English. Mewari has no meaningful written public life — which means an interpreter here is not an accessory to an engagement but its front line.
What you'll do
- Prepare and sit real sessions: community consultations, recorded field interviews, and campaign briefings, each followed by a structured debrief with your mentor
- Manage three-way sessions where Hindi carries the formal register and Mewari carries the room — switching deliberately, never blending
- Prepare sessions before you walk in: participant maps, topic terminology packs, and honorific expectations agreed with the engagement lead
- Use: Rozan-style note system for consecutive passes, Remote interpreting platforms with recording etiquette, Terminology packs built per session brief
