About the role
A senior translator marks every segment you produce, and by Month 6 you leave with a reviewed portfolio across record, notice, and archival genres. Freshers with strong bilingual reading are exactly who this track wants — the eligibility and selection process follow in full.
What you'll do
- Translate community documents between Parsi-written Gujarati and English — trust correspondence, welfare-file records
- Build the community borrowing termbase — one agreed spelling each for the Persian and English loanwords older writers rendered inconsistently
- Use: CAT tooling of the Smartcat class for segment workflow, Desk termbase for community borrowings and honorifics, OCR-assisted scanning benches for fragile bundles
