About the role
The Principal Technical Operations Engineer is a hands-on senior technical leader responsible for the stability, reliability, performance, and supportability of Cubic's production systems. The role involves leading the diagnosis and resolution of the most complex software defects, customer-reported issues, configuration problems, data anomalies related challenges across live, interconnected environments.
What you'll do
- Production Support & Issue Resolution
- Understand the enterprise architecture end to end and own troubleshooting across multiple interconnected and complex software systems
- Lead the investigation and resolution of high-impact software defects, configuration issues, integration failures, data anomalies for complex issues
- Provide technical direction during the most complex cross-system production incidents, coordinating diagnosis across application, integration, database, messaging
- Perform deep-dive root cause and pattern analysis, converting findings into permanent corrective actions, preventive controls, and prioritized engineering improvements
