Head of Platform Engineering

About the role

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, reporting to the CTO/Founder and responsible for making our platform robust, compliant, performant, scalable, and secure.

What you'll do

• Own the non-functional architecture - security, performance, scalability, availability, resilience
• Define and implement observability & monitoring frameworks (APM, logging, alerting, SLOs)
• Drive performance engineering - profiling, load testing, capacity planning, and optimization
• Champion engineering culture - coding standards, documentation norms, design reviews, and technical excellence rituals
• Build and lead the QA & automation strategy, including automated regression, performance testing, and CI/CD quality gates
