Incident Response Analyst (Remote)

About the role

As an Incident Response Analyst, you will help contain and remediate cybersecurity incidents across Cynet customer and prospective customer environments. You will combine incident coordination, digital forensics, malware analysis, and threat intelligence to support effective response and continuously improve Cynet's detection and incident response capabilities.

What you'll do

• Perform forensic analysis of compromised assets and develop actionable remediation plans
• Analyze potentially malicious files to understand their functions and techniques
• Extract indicators of compromise and feed them into detection capabilities to support continuous improvement
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24×7 escalations outside standard business hours
• Collaborate with the CyOps CTI team and Orion threat hunting team to make effective use of findings and artifacts
