About the role
The DESIM (D. E. Shaw Investment Management) group at D. E. Shaw and Co. is looking for a competent contributor to join our Tech Ops team. This team works with our New York counterparts to support a wide variety of tools and financial datasets for the DESIM group. We are looking to hire an Associate/Member, Tech Ops for the role of Operations in the DESIM team, based out of Hyderabad.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day technical operations support for production systems
- Monitor, triage, and resolve issues quickly — reviewing logs, analyzing errors, and debugging across application, data
- Document issues, actions, and outcomes clearly for broader team awareness
