About the role
The Lab Attendant is responsible for assisting in the smooth functioning of laboratory operations by maintaining cleanliness, arranging laboratory materials and equipment, supporting faculty and laboratory staff during practical sessions, and ensuring that the laboratory environment is safe and organized.
What you'll do
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory and associated storage areas
- Assist in the setup and arrangement of laboratory equipment, instruments, chemicals, specimens, and materials for practical sessions
- Support faculty members and laboratory technicians during laboratory classes and activities
- Transport laboratory materials, equipment, and supplies as required
- Ensure proper storage of laboratory items as instructed by the Faculty In-charge and Lab Technicians
