About the role
The Computer Lab Assistant is responsible for the smooth functioning of computer laboratories by providing technical support, maintaining systems, and assisting students and faculty during lab sessions.
What you'll do
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory hardware, software, and computer systems
- Install, update, and maintain open-source and licensed software applications
- Ensure uninterrupted network connectivity, internet access, and adherence to cybersecurity protocols
- Set up, test, and maintain laboratory equipment related to electrical circuits, electronics circuits, and digital logic circuits
- Configure and maintain computer systems and software tools such as Orange, R-Language, SPSS, and JAMOVI
