About the role
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive public image of the University through effective communication, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic public relations initiatives. The role involves managing relationships with print, digital, and visual media; government and professional bodies; parents; corporate leaders; VIPs; and other external stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement effective public relations and communication strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the University
- Manage public relations activities and maintain relationships with print, digital, and visual media
- Build and maintain strong networks with journalists, media houses, and other relevant communication platforms
- Establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with parents, guardians, CEOs, VIPs, guest speakers, and other key stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate liaison activities with relevant State and Central Government authorities, professional bodies, academic institutions
