About the role
The Rector (Boys Hostel) is responsible for the overall administration, supervision, and efficient management of the Boys Hostel. The role ensures a safe, secure, disciplined, and student-friendly residential environment by overseeing hostel operations, student welfare, maintenance, security, housekeeping, mess services, and recreational activities.
What you'll do
- Assist the University in formulating and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines for the effective management of the Boys Hostel, mess facilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of the Boys Hostel
- Ensure proper maintenance of the hostel building, rooms, common areas, and associated facilities through regular inspections
- Conduct regular visits and rounds of the hostel to monitor cleanliness, discipline, safety, and overall student well-being
- Allocate hostel rooms to students in accordance with the University's hostel allocation policies and guidelines
