The role supports the Group’s statutory reporting, consolidation processes, acquisition accounting , and ongoing enhancement of financial control and reporting accuracy . The position requires excellent technical expertise , strong analytical capability, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic, fast paced environment
What you'll do
- IFRS Accounting & Technical Support
- Maintain and update the IFRS 16 lease accounting model , working closely with the Estates team and FP&A
- Support and maintain IFRS 15 revenue recognition workings
- Prepare Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models annually, including review and assessment of outcomes
- Monitor and assess the impact of new or updated IFRS standards , ensuring appropriate implementation across the Group
