About the role
Extend VMS functionality to support Vehicle Service and Warranty processes. As a prospective candidate, you should possess: In-depth knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules with a focus on automotive industry processes. Solid understanding of vehicle sales, ordering cycles, and dealer/distribution network processes.
What you'll do
- Configure vehicles, track their lifecycle status, manage related actions, and assign user roles within SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS)
- Optimize processes for vehicle procurement, import, inventory management, and sales for both manufacturers and dealers
- Integrate SAP VMS with Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Financial Accounting/Controlling (FI/CO)
- Design and maintain variant configuration models for complex automotive products to ensure accurate product structures
- Manage VIN-related processes including VIN generation and VIN genealogy tracking
