About the role
Are you looking to join an in-house legal team and advise on complex, high-impact matters across a dynamic business environment? This role will work closely with business leaders, Talent, and U.S. attorneys to provide practical legal advice, manage risk, and support strategic business priorities across Deloitte US India operations.
What you'll do
- In addition, this position includes a significant focus on labor and employment matters generally and in the transaction/rebadge context
- Work on compliance filings with the applicable laws
- Advise Talent (HR) and business leaders on complex employment law matters, including ICC, investigations, litigation, regulatory, policies and compliance matters
- Regularly interact with Indian statutory authorities, such as the Software Technology Parks of India, Registrar of Companies, Company Law Board
- Track the changes/amendments in various applicable laws and regulations and keep management updated on the implications
