About the role
We are seeking a motivated AI Data Scientist to join Deltek’s growing AI Center of Excellence team to design, build, evaluate, and optimize enterprise AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multimodal AI, open-source AI models, and emerging foundation model technologies.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions for defined use cases, following established architecture patterns
- Build AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and SLMs
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including chunking, embedding, retrieval, and re-ranking
- Implement conversational AI, AI copilots, and intelligent assistants
- Design and refine prompt engineering strategies
