About the role
At the core of its infrastructure lies a sophisticated integration of hardware and software capabilities aligned with the key principles of situational awareness: perception (data collection), comprehension (data processing), and prediction (analytics). This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects (RSOs) in orbit, fostering comprehensive domain awareness.
What you'll do
- Advance, optimize, maintain, and scale image processing pipelines (including astrometry, photometry, and AI/ML models) across hardware systems
- Ensure competitive performance metrics to achieve state-of-the-art detection capabilities for both onboard space and ground-based systems
- Ensure algorithm robustness in compliance with space and defence standards
- Through rigorous testing, enhancing reliability for mission-critical applications
- Extend image processing algorithms to support additional requirements, including IR systems and control systems for pointing and tracking applications
