About the role
Since year 2003, Oceaneering’s India Center has been an integral part of operations for Oceaneering’s robust product and service offerings across the globe. This center caters to diverse business needs, from oil and gas field infrastructure, subsea robotics to automated material handling & logistics.
What you'll do
- Working within established product and system architectures, the role contributes computer vision, sensor-fusion, localization, mapping, planning, control
- Develop, test, and integrate computer vision and robotic-perception components for detection, classification, tracking, inspection, measurement
- Implement and evaluate sensor-fusion methods using cameras, sonar, lidar, radar, inertial sensors, depth sensors, and vehicle telemetry within defined system interfaces
- Contribute to visual, sonar, and multi-sensor SLAM, localization, mapping, calibration, state-estimation
- Implement and evaluate path, trajectory, task, and behavior-planning methods, including obstacle avoidance and motion-control interfaces
