About the role
The Manual QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing. The role designs and executes test scenarios, identifies and documents defects, validates fixes, and supports regression and release testing.
What you'll do
- Responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing
- Plan, design, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and user acceptance testing as required
- Identify, reproduce, document, prioritize, and track software defects using the approved defect management process and tools
- Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues
