About the role
We are looking for a Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake and Databricks to support enterprise data platform operations. The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, security, governance, access management, automation, troubleshooting, and production support across cloud-based data platforms.
What you'll do
- Administer and support Snowflake and Databricks platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence
- Manage user provisioning, RBAC, access governance, and permissions across Snowflake, Databricks, and integrated enterprise systems
- Administer Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, roles and Databricks workspaces, clusters, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, jobs, and workflows
- Monitor platform performance, resource utilization, and costs, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely issue resolution within SLA commitments
