About the role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Telugu Teacher to join our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) team in Aerocity, Hyderabad. This pivotal role is dedicated to fostering linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation among young learners, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in the Telugu language within an inquiry-based educational framework.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Telugu language lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum and inquiry-based learning methodologies
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation, oral communication, and reading proficiency in Telugu
- Develop and implement diverse teaching resources, including stories, poems, and cultural activities, to enhance student engagement and language acquisition
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Telugu language learning across the broader PYP transdisciplinary themes
