About the role
The Senior System Administrator is responsible for defining, administering, and maintaining the hardware, software, and environments for PLM, Regulatory, R&D and Clinical systems required to support Edwards’ business transformation from development through production.
What you'll do
- Lead and Manage application administration activities across the lifecycle, including vendor coordination, installation, data import, upgrades, user issue resolution
- Define, maintain, and execute source code management, release management, deployment
- Build releases, including weekly, on-demand, and snapshot releases for local instances, and support code deployments, configuration changes, code review
- Plan, configure, document, and support high availability, backup, security, SSL certificate, HTTPS, LDAPS, disaster recovery, and environment readiness requirements
- Provide guidance on non-functional requirements, including performance, load testing, benchmarking, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness
