About the role
The Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer will be responsible for the design, review and delivery of instrumentation, PLC, SCADA and automation systems for water, wastewater, pumping stations and infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Develop and review PLC, SCADA, RTU, Remote I/O and communication system architectures
- Prepare and review P&IDs, Instrument Index, I/O List, data sheets, control philosophy, cause-and-effect matrix and functional design specifications
- Prepare instrument layouts, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, cable schedules, panel GA drawings, technical specifications and BOQs
- Select and size pressure, flow, level, temperature and analytical instruments
- Develop control and monitoring requirements for pumps, valves, MCCs, VFDs and packaged equipment
