About the role
About the Role As a Senior SDET, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Eightfold’s platform. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and quality engineers to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong coding skills, automation expertise, and a problem-solving mindset.
What you'll do
- Test Automation & Framework Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Build reusable test libraries, utilities, and automation components using Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent tools
- Identify automation gaps, reduce repetitive manual testing, and improve test coverage and execution efficiency
