About the role
Designs the application, integration and cloud architecture for a carve-out. Owns the target-state design and the technical approach for moving applications from on-premises to Azure or other targets. Re-architects applications only where the separation requires it.
What you'll do
- Assess applications and assign the right 6R treatment
- Design target-state application architecture on Azure and AWS
- Apply well-architected principles to reliability, security and cost
- Define application DNS architecture and name resolution
- Define API endpoint design, integration and access patterns
