What you'll do
- Lead hardware engineering for DCS projects: architecture, cabinet design, I/O distribution, marshalling philosophy, network layout, and 3rd party interfaces
- Define deliverables, plan execution, allocate work to engineers/designers/drafters, and ensure schedule, quality, and budget adherence
- Drive and actively participate in technical reviews; drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical decision closure with cross-functional stakeholders
- Act as the technical focal point for cabinet build execution; resolve assembly queries related to wiring practices, power distribution, component selection
