What you'll do
- Create and maintain PCB component libraries, including schematic symbols, PCB footprints
- Extract mechanical, electrical, thermal, and assembly-related information from component datasheets to develop accurate library parts and design constraints
- Validate component footprints and land patterns against manufacturer recommendations and applicable IPC standards
- Design and develop high-density multilayer PCB layouts (6-22 layers) for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics designs
- Define PCB stack-ups, component placement, routing strategies, and design constraints
