What you'll do
- Independently design and develop PCB layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics applications
- Design multilayer PCBs for industrial products including controller boards, communication modules, sensor interface circuits, and AC/DC or DC/DC power supply boards
- Work closely with hardware engineers to translate schematics into high-quality PCB layouts while meeting performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost objectives
- Define PCB stack-ups, layer assignments, grounding strategies, shielding approaches, and routing methodologies
- Perform PCB layout activities considering signal integrity, power integrity, noise reduction, thermal performance, manufacturability, and reliability
