About the role
The Network Engineer will play a key role in global network operations including design, support, implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation. Focus will be on supporting day to day network operations, systems and network capacity, redundancy, high availability, implementation of network best practices and technologies while maintaining performance for critical applications.
What you'll do
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, reliability
- Maintain network standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Disaster Recovery (DR) documentation, network diagrams, device, and license inventory
- Administration of routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, and system monitoring tools
- Maintain network policies and have knowledge of current security best practices and tools for a highly secure and available production environment
- Develop solutions to automate and improve network reliability and efficiency
