Lead Engineer, Software-Platform

About the role

We are seeking a strong Lead Platform Engineer to join our Developer Experience and Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role will focus on building scalable platform capabilities, reusable engineering patterns, infrastructure automation, and self-service tooling that improve developer productivity, cloud governance, reliability, and delivery speed across engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Build self-service platform capabilities, reusable templates, and automation to help engineering teams provision, deploy, and operate cloud workloads efficiently
• Support Azure subscription decomposition and cloud landing zone initiatives, including subscription strategy, resource organization, environment separation, RBAC
• Build and maintain reusable modules for cloud infrastructure, including identity, compute, messaging, monitoring, security, and core networking components
• Drive DevX and engineering excellence initiatives, including golden paths, reusable engineering templates, standardized CI/CD patterns, automated quality gates
• Partner with security, architecture, and application teams to define secure-by-default infrastructure patterns, including identity-based access, secrets management
