About the role
A music teacher is responsible for instructing students in the principles and techniques of music. They may work with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching a variety of instruments and vocal styles, including but not limited to P iano/Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Hindustani vocals, Western vocals, Drums, and Beat boxing.
What you'll do
- Planning and developing lessons on music in accordance with students' learning objectives
- Teaching music theory, history, and appreciation
- Leading students in rehearsals and performances
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback
