About the role
The Head – Electrical, Mechanical & Mobile Equipment Maintenance will lead maintenance and reliability activities across plant machinery, electrical systems, and heavy mobile equipment used in steel plant and slag processing operations. The role will ensure high equipment availability, operational reliability, safety, and cost optimization across crushing, screening, beneficiation, metal recovery, material handling, and mobile equipment operations.
What you'll do
- Mechanical Maintenance – Fixed Plant Equipment
- Lead maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, magnetic separators, hydraulic systems, and other process and material-handling equipment
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize recurring breakdowns
- Ensure equipment reliability, mechanical integrity, and optimum asset utilization
