About the role
The Tax Senior Associate is responsible for executing compliance and tax-related activities with a high degree of accuracy and within established timelines. The individual is expected to develop subject matter expertise in assigned tasks and projects, take ownership of deliverables, and provide guidance to team members.
What you'll do
- Receive detailed training and project assignments from the Team Leader or Manager
- Rapidly progress through the learning curve and assume responsibility for assigned activities
- Take on complex tasks upon successful completion of the learning curve, based on performance and readiness
- Manage deadlines for assigned projects, operational tasks, and ad hoc activities, while serving as a backup when needed
- Support Sales and Use Tax accounting and reporting processes as required
