About the role
The FMCG Vendor Manager will be responsible for managing sourcing, procurement, and vendor relationships for FMCG products and raw materials to ensure uninterrupted supply across all DC locations. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier management, inventory efficiency, timely vendor payments, and process improvements to support business growth and operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute procurement strategies while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely material availability
- Identify, onboard, manage, and negotiate with vendors to build strong supplier partnerships
- Manage Purchase Orders (POs), procurement documentation, contracts, and approvals
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain optimal stock availability
- Oversee GRN processes, invoice verification, and vendor payment coordination with Finance teams
