About the role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud System Administrator to manage and maintain our hybrid cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, VMware vSphere, and a strong background in patch management. This role is critical to ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability across our cloud and on-prem environments.
What you'll do
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in cloud and on-prem environments
- Manage and optimize VMware vSphere infrastructure, including virtual machines, hosts, clusters, and storage
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
- Implement and manage patching strategies across all systems to ensure compliance and security
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
