About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and strong proficiency in SolidWorks. The ideal candidate may be a fresher or have up to 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to create 3D models, prepare engineering drawings, and support mechanical design and development activities.
What you'll do
- Create 3D mechanical models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications
- Develop and modify mechanical components and assemblies as per design requirements
- Apply creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and mechanism knowledge to develop effective mechanical design solutions
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications
