About the role
Prepare journal entries for premium and loss estimates, fee revenue, contingent commissions, cash, intercompany activity and eliminations. Prepare and certify journal entries in the applicable accounting workflow, including cash entries and uploads to Oracle or S4 where specified. Prepare balance-sheet reconciliations, source-to-GL validation and cash validation, including key and non-key reconciliations and open-item follow-up.
What you'll do
- Prepare journal entries for premium and loss estimates, fee revenue, contingent commissions, cash, intercompany activity and eliminations
- Prepare and certify journal entries in the applicable accounting workflow, including cash entries and uploads to Oracle or S4 where specified
- Prepare balance-sheet reconciliations, source-to-GL validation and cash validation, including key and non-key reconciliations and open-item follow-up
- Perform P&L and balance-sheet variance analysis under GAAP and STAT, including agency, carrier and consolidated views where specified
- Prepare premium, loss and operating-expense trends, clear review comments and provide the required close updates
