About the role
Cash Application Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring accurate recording and application of cash receipts. This role involves working closely with the accounting team to maintain up-to-date records and resolve any discrepancies in payments. Accurately apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts.
What you'll do
- Responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring accurate recording and application of cash receipts
- Process and post payments received via checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit cards
- Perform regular reconciliation of accounts receivable subledgers to the general ledger
- Investigate and resolve any variances identified during reconciliations
- Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
