About the role
The role is responsible for running event validation, querying BigQuery for data quality issues, validating mobile tracking payloads, and maintaining tracking documentation throughout the engagement. This is an execution and delivery role for someone who is rigorous about accuracy, thorough in documentation, and comfortable working across GA4, GTM, AppsFlyer, and BigQuery.
What you'll do
- Responsible for running event validation, querying BigQuery for data quality issues, validating mobile tracking payloads
- Execute web audit checklist items: walk through each customer journey using GTM Preview and the browser DevTools network tab — product view, add to cart, checkout
- Run BigQuery data quality queries: surface (not set) volumes in source and medium, purchase events with missing values, duplicate events
- Support AppsFlyer event validation: cross-reference AppsFlyer event logs against the tracking spec and document any discrepancies with evidence
- Maintain tracking documentation: draft event tables, parameter definitions, and implementation code snippet templates from specifications provided by the engagement lead
