About the role
Preparation of annual premium tax returns, estimates and other miscellaneous filings for US based entities. Performing a review of filings prepared by other team members for accuracy, completeness and technical proficiency. E filings of returns via OPTins and making the required payment to the state authority.
What you'll do
- Performing a review of filings prepared by other team members for accuracy, completeness and technical proficiency
- Performing transaction testing for five different types of transactions – New Business, Renewal, Reinstatement
- Preparing federal and state workpapers for tax returns and extensions with the primary data provided by client
- Creating e-file XMLs of returns on platforms/software/applications approved by Internal Revenue Services (IRS)
- Provide support to onshore team with tax audits as they arise
