About the role
The role owns EXL’s Claude demo library and POC pipeline within the India AI Center of Excellence. Reporting to the Director, the engineer turns solution designs into working, measurable systems and rapidly prototypes new Claude capabilities for client pursuits. CCA-F (Claude Certified – Foundations) certification is the baseline; MCP and Claude Computer Use familiarity is a strong differentiator
What you'll do
- Build and deploy Claude-powered demos, proofs-of-concept, and production solutions using Python, LangChain, and RAG patterns
- Implement agentic workflows with tool-calling/function-calling and, where relevant, MCP-based integrations
- Develop production services and APIs, and deploy on AWS (and Replit for rapid prototyping), with attention to reliability, cost, and latency
- Apply guardrails and evaluation strategies to ensure output quality, safety, and policy compliance
- Collaborate with the Claude Solutions Architect and delivery teams to convert designs into working systems
