About the role
The Senior Engineering Manager is accountable for end-to-end delivery execution and people leadership for a cross-functional POD consisting of software engineers, quality engineers, and related technical contributors. This role owns delivery predictability, team health, execution quality, operational excellence, and talent development while partnering closely with Product Management and Architecture.
What you'll do
- Lead a cross-functional delivery POD with accountability for delivery execution, engineering quality, operational stability, and team performance
- Manage and develop engineers, quality engineers, and other technical contributors through coaching, feedback, career development, and performance management
- Own sprint execution, delivery predictability, release readiness, and dependency management across the POD
- Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into executable delivery plans
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, testing strategies, automation adoption, and release quality
