About the role
The Facilities Engineer - Advanced is expected to apply process engineering skills, knowledge of upstream operations and technology, and leadership skills to: Solve moderately complex problems on existing production / manufacturing assets Support the development and deployment of new technologies Support the development, design, and commissioning of projects within their discipline
What you'll do
- Activities could include process surveillance and troubleshooting; process improvement, optimization, and debottlenecking studies
- Activities could include modeling & simulation to support the generation of the project H&MB; contributing to technical deliverables, e.g. design basis
- Development and Deployment of Technologies: Support the development and deployment of new Upstream technology under the guidance of a technical expert
- Mentoring: Provide mentorship and coaching to early career professionals
- Work Process Improvements: Improve work processes & tools; identify cross-functional business improvement opportunities
