About the role
Wells Quality Engineer - OCTG(INDIA ONLY) at ExxonMobil. Responsible for review and approval of supplier Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans for, OCTG and API / Proprietary Threading (VAM, JFE, Tenaris, etc.,).
What you'll do
- Responsible for review and approval of supplier Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans for, OCTG and API / Proprietary Threading (VAM, JFE, Tenaris, etc.,)
- Steward supplier evaluations and assessments, facility qualifications (such as OCTG Mill and Threading facility) and API Q1 compliance audits
- Provide assistance to Wells procurement teams to incorporate Wells Quality Manual (WQM) and associated Appendices into quality exhibits for tender documentation packages
- Conduct Pre-Production or kick-off meetings with suppliers to ensure their processes and products meet all quality requirements
- Ensure appropriate budget allocation for Third Party inspection agencies in collaboration with Wells Teams
