About the role
The Senior – Business Valuation role sits within EY’s Strategy and Transactions (SaT) – Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) practice. The role is execution ‑ focused, with primary responsibility for hands ‑ on valuation of complex financial instruments and portfolio investments, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
What you'll do
- Hands ‑ on Valuation Execution
- Independently perform fair value measurement of complex financial instruments and portfolio investments, primarily for IFRS financial reporting purposes
- Option pricing models (Black ‑ Scholes, binomial / lattice models)
- Monte Carlo simulation techniques
- Discounted cash flow and scenario ‑ based models, a pply advanced financial engineering, econometric, and statistical techniques to address complex valuation challenges
